Ms. Phindile Spies

Phindile currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer for Thembani International Guarantee Fund, a not for profit entity whose mandate is to encourage the flow of capital from commercial banks to the under-banked and unbanked commercially active communities using guarantees matched with technical support, skills training and access to markets.

An accountant by profession, registered with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA), she is also a registered member of the Institute of Directors (IoDSA). She served articles with Fisher Hoffman Stride (PKF) and later joined the private sector as an accountant. She has held various positions in Finance Management including that of CFO.
